JOB DESCRIPTION

About the position

Based in Perth, we are looking for a Physio/Exercise Physiologist or Rehabilitation Counsellor to join our successful workplace rehabilitation team.

Working with people who’ve sustained a physical injury, you’ll be responsible for delivering holistic, client-centred services. You’ll work autonomously while having the support of a strong team.

The role provides extensive support for new starters and allows flexibility in planning your own day, including office days, working from home, and attending appointments/time on the road.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of services, including:

  • Assessing client needs
  • Developing strategies to allow a safe return to previous activities as part of rehabilitation
  • Workplace ergonomic assessments
  • Attending client medical appointments with other medical and allied health professionals
  • Worksite visits
  • Case management services

Qualifications

You’ll be a driven and energetic professional with:

  • Full or provisional registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency or Exercise and Sports Science Australia
  • A qualification in physiotherapy
  • Experience in occupational rehabilitation (highly desired but not essential)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • The confidence to use initiative to solve problems and achieve outcomes
  • A passion for injury prevention, return to work, and the health benefits of work
  • Enthusiasm for professional development
  • The ability to grow our services
  • An ability to build strong relationships with customers
  • Current driver's license and car
