About the organisation 

The organisation are one of Australia's longest serving disability & community service providers and provide innovative, flexible and high quality support to enhance lifestyle & learning opportunities for people with a disability & their families. They are currently undergoing an exciting period of growth in WA and are looking for a Psychologist to join their multidisciplinary therapy team in Perth & ay a key role in developing their Psychology service. 

Key responsibilities

  • Provide a range of evidence-based psychological interventions & assessments for clients presenting with a range of conditions/syndromes
  • Manage a caseload of clients that could include both children and adults 
  • Plan, deliver & evaluate a range of psychology services which build on strengths, needs & priorities & meet quality service standards 
  • Support clients & other stakeholders to develop & review support plans
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals to ensure a high quality service is provided with effective & professional follow ups delivered for clients

Selection criteria 

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology 
  • Full registration with AHPRA as a General or Clinical Psychologist
  • The ability to develop & deliver therapy based programs 
  • Demonstrated postgraduate experience as a Psychologist, preferably within a disability/NDIS environment 
  • Positive Behaviour Support experience - desirable
