About The Role

The Clinical Nurse - Clinical Facilitator works autonomously within the healthcare team structure and is pivotal in the planning, managing and delivering of cancer specialist nursing care. The CF provides clinical leadership for professional and clinical practice, education and research. The role supports in management activities including portfolio responsibilities. The CF leads educational delivery and develops colleagues through training, instruction and demonstration. The CF role is an 80% direct clinical role with a 20% administrative component. The role supports the Nurse Grade 7 or above in management activities and any portfolio responsibilities.

Reports directly to the Nurse Educator of Division of Cancer Services.

Has no direct supervisory responsibilities of nursing staff.

The role has no direct financial and human resource delegations.

The position is responsible for educational and quality improvement portfolio/s in clinical care, management or leadership, and other duties as delegated and or directed by the Nurse Educator.
