JOB DESCRIPTION

The Partnerships Program Director (the Director) reports to the Executive Director, Consumer and Clinical Partnerships and is responsible for the successful delivery of the Commission on Excellence and Innovation in Health (CEIH) Partnership Program of Work. The Director is a senior leader in the CEIH and is responsible providing leadership to, and supporting existing partnerships with, consumers, carers, community and clinicians across the sector and managing the development of new partnerships in alignment with the CEIH strategic direction. They are responsible for delivery of partnership and they engage in system capability development by connecting people across health to share knowledge and experience and to promoting best practice in clinical practice and in improving delivery of care.

The Director also provides leadership and day-to-day management of the Partnerships Program team to achieve their business and professional development objectives.

The Director may be required to represent the state in relevant national forums, and committees with key stakeholders and other government and non-government organisations.

Employees classified in this role have involvement in various health care assignments/projects. This may include: development, implementation and evaluation of strategic directions, policies etc. which support professional practice, advice on contemporary issues relating to practice, project management, strategic leadership for innovation and change.
