We have an exciting opportunity for a senior health practitioner to join our passionate Strategy, Quality & Improvement Team at Regis Aged Care! We are looking for someone who has the expertise, passion and energy to lead a best practice quality framework across their portfolio of responsibility . The opportunity

Reporting directly to our Executive General Manager of Strategy Quality and Improvement, the Regional Manager, Quality & Improvement is responsible for providing overarching support across a designated portfolio of sites to ensure effective quality and improvement systems are in place to guarantee performance against Regis policies and processes, governing legislation and applicable regulations and standards (e.g. Aged Care, Home Care, NDIS) .

You will work in collaboration with the business to identify risk through audits, indicators and industry trends (including benchmarking) along with recommended strategies. Leading a team of Quality & Improvement Managers you will provide direction and support for the management of significant risks (e.g. coroners / incidents / infections), recommend strategies and monitor until closed. You’ll also produce dashboards and reports - in coordination with the National Quality Assurance Manager - that convey information and drive targeted action.

Success in this role will be built upon strong relationships with all stakeholders, and the ability to translate information into effective and practical initiatives and contribute constructively to care, support and service outcomes.

About You

You are a qualified Health Practitioner – AHPRA registered and current with no conditions with at least 5 years management experience or similar role in Health Care or Aged Care or a similar discipline. You’ll have a demonstrated understanding of accreditation standards as applicable to aged care as well as a demonstrated understanding of quality management principles and practices with an emphasis on continuous quality improvement and organisational change.

You’ll be passionate about collecting and analysing data, reporting on findings and developing recommendations for improvement with the ability to distil information and effectively communicate in writing and verbal to stakeholders to influence change.
