Support the implementation of NDIS requirements across our Aged Care homes

In this exciting role, the NDIS Project Manager will be responsible for supporting the implementation of the NDIS registration requirements across our Aged Care homes to ensure that the needs for NDIS funded residents are understood and met, and that all regulatory and legislative requirements are in place. We are looking for an energetic individual who is able to apply their subject matter expertise to help embed the necessary systems, as well as coach, train and develop our staff in relation to NDIS.

The opportunity

Reporting directly to Executive General Manager, Strategy Quality and Improvement, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation of NDIS registration requirements across the business for NDIS funded residents. This is a full time, 12 month contract position.

Key Activities And Milestones Will Include

  • Ensure that reasonable steps have been taken to obtain interim and comprehensive behaviour support plans for NDIS residents where a restrictive practice is in place, and ensure that systems are in place to support NDIS reporting requirements.
  • Support the process for seeking NDIS Commission approval to undertake one organisational audit.
  • Support the Regis organisational change process and preparation to achieve a successful NDIS Certification audit against the NDIS Practice Standards and ongoing Provider registration.
  • Ensure that appropriate training, learning and development, materials and resources are in place in response.
  • Work with key departments to ensure information is delivered to the business.
  • Provide any other subject matter expertise to staff as required, and support them proactively to address any other NDIS system requirements.
The Ideal Candidate Has

About you
  • Subject matter experience and/or experience in NDIS
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve outcomes through stakeholder relationships
  • Knowledge of the application of Federal, State and Local Government Regulations, Statutes, Acts as they pertain to all aspects of operating within the aged care sector
  • Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to distil information and effectively communicate in writing and verbal to stakeholders to influence change
