We are currently seeking applications for a Deputy Services Manager to join our residential aged care team on a permanent full time basis based in Joondalup. The role is responsible for ensuring the site delivers a high standard of clinical management care services to Brightwater’s clients according to the Aged Care Quality Standards and, in line with Brightwater’s personhood philosophy, mission and values. The successful incumbent will also provide leadership and guidance to staff ensuring the site operates efficiently and effectively in line with Brightwater’s mission and values.

The Ideal Candidate Will
  • Be a Registered Nurse currently registered with the Australia Heath Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Excellent clinical skills and knowledge with experience working within the residential aged care sector.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to liaise, consult and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, building successful relationships and delivering effective leadership.
  • Experience delivering effective human resource management including experience in staff recruitment and selection, performance management and training and development.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding and experience of ACFI Funding.
  • Be available to work flexible hours. It is a requirement of this position to be part of an on call roster.
  • Evidence of up to date flu vaccination.
  • A satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening Check
