About the role

Ward 7.1 is a 32 bed specialty medicine ward, with a dedicated acute stroke unit including thrombolysis management and telemetry. We are a preferred primary stroke service that has been nationally recognised for our door-in- door-out and door-to -needle times. We also provide care for general neurology, endocrinology and vascular patients.

About you


To be successful in this role you will possess:




    • Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration certificate

    • Completed Graduate Nurse Program

    • Recent acute experience in neurology, endocrinology and/or vascular nursing

    • A strong commitment to high quality patient care

    • Well-developed interpersonal skills

    • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team

    • Ability to work a rotating roster (all shifts)

    • You must have the right to permanenetly live and work in Australia to apply for this job.
