The Hub are looking to expand our speech pathology services in our brand new state of the art facilities located in Mandurah.

The Hub: Integrated Child Development Solutions is committed to providing a professional and exemplary allied health service to clients and their families. This includes comprehensive assessment and therapy services, where every client is treated holistically and as an individual. The Hub utilises a unique and specialised team based approach for assessments located within the one centre. We are committed to provide clients with a family focussed service that is easy to access and understand. Key Responsibilities

The Hub is looking to recruit a dynamic Speech Pathologist who is passionate and confident to work alongside individuals living with disabilities including ASD assisting them to achieve their therapy and personal goals outlined in their NDIS Plan or Private referral.

You will have the opportunity to provide therapeutic services both in the clinic and in home/community. You will be providing therapy targeting speech, language and social communication needs of children to bring about positive outcomes, as well as educating parents and carers.

Essential Criteria:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology and full membership to Speech Pathology Australia.
  • 1 – 2 years working experience as a practising Speech Pathologist
  • Demonstrated knowledge of appropriate assessments and interventions for children with developmental concerns, delays and disorders.
  • Demonstrate competency in working with children with communication difficulties
  • Demonstrated efficient and effective time and caseload management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team and collaboratively with peers.
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Police Clearance and Working With Children Clearance
  • Current “C” or “CA” Class driver’s license.
  • Eligible to work permanently in Australia.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Previous experience in the provision of speech pathology services in the area of developmental paediatrics, however, all levels of experience will be considered.
  • Current knowledge and commitment to Equal Opportunity in all aspects of employment and service delivery.
  • Previous experience with NDIS.
  • Experience in facilitating and enabling meaningful outcomes for people with disability and their families
  • Have AAC experience or desire to increase clinical skills in learning AAC
