Please join us as Clinical Trial Assistant in our Clinical and Regulatory Team.

Your Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Director Clinical and Regulatory Affairs the Clinical Trial Assistant works closely with a team of Clinical Research Associates and supports them in all aspects of clinical trial execution in Australia and New Zealand.

The Clinical Trial Assistant supports ethics and governance submissions, assists the Clinical Research Associates in their field work, manages clinical trial stock as well as our clinical trial management system. They work according to and be an internal ambassador for our Standard Operating Procedures thereby gaining valuable experience with all of BIOTRONIK’s studies.

We offer to develop the successful candidate to a Clinical Research Associate with a deep understanding of medical device clinical trials and skills in relationship building with our clinical partners.

Qualification and Experience?

The desirable qualification and experience we look for include:

  • University degree (minimum bachelor`s degree or equivalent) in a health profession, medicine, science and/or engineering
  • Knowledge and understanding of ISO14155, Declaration of Helsinki, Australian laws and regulations governing clinical trials
  • Experience working for a Clinical Research Organization, medical device or pharmaceutical company as a CTA or experience working in clinical research at a hospital
  • Professional exposure to medical devices
  • Minimum 1 year of work experience in the clinical trials field
