Position Title: Administration Officer - Emergency Department

Employment Type: Permanent/Part Time

Hours per week: 16 hours per Week (Minimum)

Position Grade: Administration Officer Level 3

Enterprise Agreement: The Named NSW (Non-Declared) Affiliated Health Organisations’ Health Employees Agreement 2019

Position Summary

A vacancy exists for a highly motivated person with appropriate working hour flexibility, knowledge and skills, to join our friendly, supportive and very "busy" 24 hour, 7 day a week roster in the Emergency Department. The successful applicant will be expected to be able to provide roster cover for vacant day and overnight shifts as a result of regular gaps in the roster, unexpected leave, illness and those shifts not covered by full time staff. This can be with minimal notice.

This position will not suit those undertaking full time or part time study .

  • Do you like a challenge? Do you prefer not to be “tied to a desk” all day? Do you have flexible availability 24 hours?
  • Do you have previous experience and are familiar with the health industry, or do you feel your work skills could translate to our Emergency Department where you would be interviewing and registering patients arriving in our ED by ambulance?
  • Do you have experience working with people from diverse groups have excellent communication skills and can work in a fast paced environment?
  • Do you have high quality communication and data entry skills?
