Located on the beautiful Great South Coast, South West Healthcare offers a comprehensive range of medical, surgical and psychiatric services. The organisation serves a catchment in excess of 110,000 and comprises of a total of 282 beds and an extensive range of primary and community services. Warrnambool boasts excellent sporting, education (pre-school to university), social and cultural facilities. The city’s award winning foreshore promenade is a 5.7km path that stretches from the breakwater along the coastline to the Hopkins River mouth.

About the role

We are seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced Registered Nurses for a permanent role within our Clinical Coordinator team, providing high level clinical and operational oversight of our Warrnambool Base Hospital Campus. A significant proportion of the role will involve after hours/night duty shift.

Our diverse and highly skilled nursing teams work cohesively within a multidisciplinary Medical, Allied and Community Health framework to provide best practice, patient centred care in a safe and caring environment.

What you bring

The successful applicants will be currently registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse, with drive to extend their career in management. Applicants should be able to demonstrate a high level of clinical skill together with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Applicants should be highly motivated with a demonstrated commitment to the organisational values of South West Healthcare. A post graduate speciality, such as critical care is also desirable.
