Your new company
This Federal Government Agency works towards the goal of improving health outcomes for Australians through the delivery of digital health care systems, with a focus on engagement, innovation, clinical quality, and safety.

Your new role
Working within a team that manages quality assurance processes, you will be responsible for managing regulatory compliance functions in line with existing frameworks and legislation. This will include:

  • Apply a risk-based approach to the development of key compliance priorities, including analysis of effectiveness of mitigating controls.
  • Develop and deliver compliance plans, including annual compliance priorities and focus areas, and ensure corresponding standard operating procedures are accurate and up to date.
  • Undertake objective, systematic analysis of compliance related matters and draw accurate conclusions based on evidence.
  • Oversee the development of clear guidance and education materials, tailored for stakeholders, to promote awareness and understanding of compliance obligations.

What you'll need to succeed
Successful applicants will have demonstrated experience undertaking regulatory compliance and quality assurance activities within a Government setting. As well as this, you will have:

  • Well-developed communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to undertake systematic analysis and draw accurate conclusions, based on evidence.
  • Demonstrated writing skills of a high order, with the ability to tailor messages to suit diverse audiences and translate complex data results into plain language.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with legislation and legislative frameworks.
  • Strong data analysis skills and proficiency in the use of data analysis features of MS Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team, to deliver outcomes against competing priorities and deadlines.
