Due to the continued growth of National 360 and increasing demand for our services, we have the following leadership position available - National Clinical Lead- Speech Pathology

This role is open to nation-wide candidates across our locations in SA, WA, VIC, QLD, Tasmania, and NSW and is a key leadership position within the business.

About the role:
The role of National Clinical Lead-Speech Pathology to take overall accountability for the Speech Pathology stream coordinating and leading speech therapy services within National 360 and ensuring effective integration and collaboration across other disciplines within the organisation. The role is responsible for ensuring clinical resources are appropriate and provides strategic advice to the Leadership Team on clinical matters affecting therapy, service planning decisions, policy, and workforce management. We are looking for a dynamic, progressive, thought leader who can embrace consumer driven care to expand out speech pathology profile and support our clinicians in a growing service.

As the Speech Pathologist -National Clinical Lead with National 360 you will have the opportunity to:

  • Coordinate and lead Speech Pathology services within National 360
  • Provide leadership and direction to Speech Pathologists in the development of innovative and contemporary services, and ensure accountable, outcome-based, high- quality services are consistently provided
  • Lead and support a team of Clinical Practice Advisors and Senior Speech pathologists in best practice
  • Ensure that inductions and competencies for new Speech Pathologists are conducive to therapists understanding their role, implementing best practice as well as legislative requirements and customer need
  • Develop Speech Pathology Strategic Plan in liaison with Director Clinical Services and other members of the Clinical Leadership Team
  • Lead specific clinical priorities / portfolios in-line with Strategic Plan and National 360’s clinical and business strategy
  • Monitor Therapy services and workforce management across Speech Pathology to identify work standards, priorities, and allocation of resources
  • Maintain knowledge and implement of current trends and best practice in service provision and innovation
  • Provide expert consultancy and authoritative advice to Senior Clinicians, clinical teams, and senior managers on speech pathology practice.
  • Contribute to or facilitate education and professional development programs and activities to address identified professional development needs
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Speech Pathology
  • Experience or demonstrated knowledge of the NDIS
  • High level leadership skills including organisational wide service delivery implementation experience and clinical supervision skills
  • Paediatric Therapist - Minimum of five years of a broad range of paediatric experience including early intervention, speech, language, play & social skills, feeding & mealtime assessment across a range of disabilities.
  • Adult Therapist - Minimum of five years of experience supporting an adult disability related caseload including appropriate assessment and ongoing intervention.
  • Police Check
  • NDIS worker screening clearance
