About the Position

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Operating Officer (Residential) will work with the Residential Team, Executive Team and the appropriate Board Committees to lead Bethanie’s residential operations, ensuring effective and efficient operational management and alignment to Bethanie’s strategic direction. The Chief Operating Officer (Residential) will ensure risk is appropriately managed, customer outcomes are achieved, and exceptional leadership and cultural alignment of the team is delivered, while driving sustainable business growth.

The successful candidate will maintain the organisation’s position as Western Australia’s number one Not for Profit residential aged care provider and continue to identify and drive strategies aimed to continuously improve the quality of aged care services, quality of life and care for our seniors to meet the changing needs and expectations of future generations.

Essential Requirements

  • Background – Experience leading the delivery of exceptional customer service and high-quality clinical outcomes in an Aged Care environment. Whilst not mandatory, post graduate qualification such as MBA will be highly regarded.
  • Leadership – Proven and inspiring leader with experience in organisations of similar focus.
  • Stakeholder Management – Ability to build and leverage internal and external stakeholder relationships.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills – Sound judgement, good negotiator, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. An authentic, humble and dynamic leader.
