What you'll be doing Provide assistance and support to the Allied Health team in the delivery of services to patients/clients under the direction and supervision of an allied health professional.

  1. Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistant / relevant qualification or willingness to undertake this training within 24 months
  2. Clinical experience working with elderly / disabled populations in a hospital or other healthcare setting
  3. Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written & verbal communication skills
  4. Demonstrated ability to work as an effective member of a multi-disciplinary team
  5. Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and complete activities (including ability to work within scope of practice and seek assistance when required) as delegated by the supervising allied health professional
  6. Demonstrated computer literacy skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office and email applications
  7. Current licence valid to drive in NSW
