Clinical Nurse Consultant - Renal Services
Manning Hospital

Manning Renal is a growing service consisting of two in centre dialysis units at Taree and one satellite unit located at Forster and also has available a Home Training Unit and Renal Outreach Service. Located on the Mid North Coats of NSW, Taree and the Manning Hospital are nestled in the Manning Valley only three hours’ drive north of Sydney, two hours north of Newcastle and one hour south of Port Macquarie. Our home is renowned for its natural assets including stunning national parks, 45km of pristine coastline, some of the best beaches and river systems in Australia. 

About the role:
The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) role will be responsible for coordinating Chronic Kidney Disease clinics, Renal Options Seminars and supporting Renal Supportive Care patients. You will also support in centre HD patients and the nursing team as a speciality. This is an evolving position that collaborates closely with a multi-disciplinary team including a Nurse Practitioner, Renal Nursing Staff and Allied Health Staff. There will be a short orientation period to the Renal Services and HNELHD if external to HNELHD. Support from the Senior Renal Leadership Team inclusive of NUM, NP, CNE and CNS will also be available.
