Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) are seeking dynamic Operating Theatre Technicians to join our team at Canterbury Hospital!

Do you have previous experience in intraoperative theatre duties including transfer of patients onto the operating table and positioning of patients?

Do you have effective organisational skills?

The purpose of this position is to provide support services to the activities in the Perioperative Department by the performance of any or all of the tasks assigned to this position and contributing to the achievement of safe patient outcomes.

The position is also engaged in the provision of porterage, theatre linen supplies and cleaning services. Intraoperative theatre duties include transfers of patients onto the operating table and positioning of patients.

To be considered for this role you must have…

  • The ability to participate in a seven day rotating roster.
