We are looking for nurse immunisers to join our project team to assist with migrating staff records to VaxLink and checking candidate compliance through the recruitment phase. The roles offered are temporary for up to 6 months with the project team or two years with the Recruitment Team. Part Time will be considered.

Where you'll be working
The team will be based at Macquarie Hospital campus with travel to other sites throughout Northern Sydney Local Health District as required.

What you'll be doing

The registered nurse will work as part of a team tasked with migrating staff vaccination record s into VaxLink, screening and assessment of candidate vaccination evidence and providing the necessary Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination services required under the current Policy Directive.

  1. Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them.
  2. Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with broad relevant experience and relating to occupational health.
  3. An Authorised Nurse Immuniser, as approved by the Australian Collage of Nursing, with experience in working independently and providing outreach immunisation.
  4. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, prioritise competing workloads and work collaboratively as a team member.
  5. Demonstrated ability to think critically and problem solve while working with integrity and accountability.
  6. Demonstrated customer service, negotiation and proactive communication (verbal and written) skills with excellent computer skills using MS Office programs and electronic filing systems.
  7. Current NSW Driver's Licence
