Provide routine clinical pharmacy services independently at a competent level within an evidence-based quality and multidisciplinary healthcare environment with limited professional supervision and guidance, and aligned to organisational goals, professional, legislative and ethical standards.

About The Role

  • Exercise independent professional judgement in resolving routine problems, with more complex clinical decisions and problem solving made with limited professional supervision and guidance;
  • Provide professional clinical supervision to pharmacy interns, students and pharmacy support personnel;
  • Provide clinical in-service training and education on a discipline specific and cross disciplinary basis, including to medical, nursing and other staff, undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy students, and support staff.
  • Work cooperatively and effectively with multidisciplinary teams within and external to Pharmacy, and with patients/carers, and actively participate and provide professional advice in this multidisciplinary environment;
  • Develop clinical practice knowledge, skills and expertise through active learning within the team and on clinical rotations, and by engaging in professional development activities and contributing to professional knowledge, expertise and skills through presentations.
