The role: This role will see you provide efficient, high quality, evidence-based, paediatric physiotherapy service to eligible children and their families. You will incorporate a transdisciplinary action in your work approach and be a collaborative team member. This position will be funded through a mix of options such as public funding, full fee-paying, Medicare and NDIS packages. Outlined responsibilities: Operate a paediatric physiotherapy service within multi and transdisciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of centre-based and outreach services to all eligible clients Assess, plan and provide interventions for a caseload of pre-school and school-aged children Initiate, plan, implement and evaluate group therapy programs for children as appropriate Work with the child and their family as equal and active partners to ensure family-centred practice Liaise with referral agencies to ensure continuity of care Maintenance of documentation What we are looking for: Having a committed and long-standing team this business is after someone who values experienced resources and is committed to delivering exceptional services, we are open to discussing your experience at any level as this client believes they have the network and team to truly develop a passionate physiotherapist. years experience in a paediatric physiotherapy setting Demonstrate knowledge of typical and atypical childhood development in order to understand the child's developmental delay or disability. Demonstrate skills in physiotherapy assessment and intervention, based on current evidence-based practice to ensure positive outcomes for the child and family. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Experience in planning and delivering group therapy programs Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software applications
