About the role 



A Grade 1 position has arisen across Eastern Health Physiotherapy - located in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs - offering comprehensive clinical experience as part of a large, vibrant physiotherapy department with a commitment to providing high-quality, innovative health care that delivers best-practice, patient-centred outcomes.



As part of Eastern Health Physiotherapy's strong team focus, involvement in our quality, professional development and undergraduate training programs is actively encouraged including supported opportunities for senior grade 1 staff on our governance committees, introduction to quality improvement methodology and contributing to supervision of students in our La Trobe University Eastern Health Physiotherapy Clinical School.



Our Grade 1 Rotation Program Offers:




  • 26 exciting rotations across 6 locations, acute, sub-acute & community programs 

  • Friendly, supportive & dynamic teams 

  • Regular supervision, co-treatments with seniors & professional development opportunities provided



To be successful in the role you will:




  • have recognised tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy

  • have current registration as appropriate to requirements of AHPRA

  • be eligible for practising membership of the Australian Physiotherapy Association 

  • demonstrate knowledge of clinical theory and practice relevant to hospital based care

  • demonstrate a clear understanding of client-centred care & goal setting with clients across the continuum

  • be a strong communicator – both oral and written
