Source: uWorkin

  • Progress your career with Monash Health
  • Permanent positions for Registered and Enrolled Nurses; full time or part time considered
  • Dandenong and Casey Hospitals

Acknowledging the vital role they play in providing healthcare to our community, Monash Health proudly supports the WHO 2021 International Year of the Health and Care Workers.

Nursing at Monash Health

Monash Health is the largest public health service in Victoria, employing over 19,000 people across a range of specialities. The Safer Patient Care Act 2015 provides for improved Nurse and Midwife to patient ratios. In turn, this enables us to deliver better patient care as well as safer, more satisfying and rewarding workplaces.

The next uplift in these ratios will take effect from 1 July 2021. As a result, we are pleased to offer a number of permanent nursing positions in our Medical, Surgical or Medical/Palliative Care services at Dandenong or Casey Hospital. We can consider both Registered and Enrolled Nurses and the positions can be offered on either a full time or part time basis (minimum of four shifts per fortnight). While the anticipated start date is 1 July 2021, earlier commencements may be negotiated.

These roles are responsible for clinical outcomes, working under the direction of local supervisors. You will be expected to practice safely within your scope of practice, to ensure the delivery of a high standard of evidence-based nursing care to our consumers. All roles will require the ability to work across a seven day, 24 hour roster including morning, afternoon and night shifts, weekdays and weekends.
