Health and Community Recruitment - Brisbane City, QLD

Health, Medical & Pharmaceutical
Source: uWorkin

JOB DESCRIPTION

$90k - $100 (negotiable) + super + motor vehicle allowance. Great opportunity for an experienced OT wanting to step up in to a Senior / Team Leader role.

Health and Community Recruitment are a specialist recruitment agency dedicated to connecting passionate health talent with the best opportunities.

We are proudly partnering with one of Queensland's leading multi-site therapy practices who are looking for an experienced or Senior OT passionate about Paediatrics and Assistive Technology, and is interested in moving in to a team leader role.

The focus for this role is both service delivery to clients (predominantly NDIS paediatrics), as well as supporting the General Manager with leadership of this specific OT team. The team will be made up of both experienced and new grad OTs, and as the team grows your clinical hours will reduce so you can spend more time leading and mentoring.

Key areas of the role are:

  • Setting the benchmark for best practice OT service delivery
  • Managing a caseload of clients (predominantly Paediatrics), delivering services in clinic or community
  • Initially work 4 days with clients and 1 day in leadership responsibilities (until the team grows)
  • Mentoring, leading and providing supervision to a team of OTs
  • Developing resources, training material (including delivering training) for the team and wider business

You will be a values driven individual who is passionate about making a difference in both the lives of the clients you work with, and the lives of the team you will be leading. Opportunities are considerable with this organisation, right now they are recruiting a number of new positions across various sites due to growth.

To be considered, we’d like you to have:

  • Full AHPRA registration and Australian working rights
  • 3 + years experience as an OT supporting varied caseloads including paediatrics (expertise in assistive technology and home mods preferred)
  • A passion for mentoring, leading and developing tools to support team capability
  • A reliable car and unrestricted drivers licence (generous car use allowance will be provided)

As they have a number of sites around each are of Brisbane, there can be some flexibility around primary site (ideally Sunnybank Hills + south side), but reciprocally some flexibility is also needed based on current client needs. Starting salary is between $90k-$100k (negotiable if you're already in a lead role) + super + motor vehicle allowance.

Without sounding too cliche, opportunities like this genuinely don't come up too often to work with such a great organisation on an amazing trajectory, so don't delay in expressing interest.
