JOB DESCRIPTION

The Position 

Position Title: LifeStyle Co-ordinator
Classification: ID5
Salary per hour: $30.53 
Hours per fortnight: 60
Employment Status: Permanent



 Key Responsibilities:



  • Actively participate in the development of activities programs for the Unit

  • Provide comfort and safety of residents during lifestyle activities & diversional therapies

  • Support and promote residents continuing links with the wider community

  • Compile care plans, profiles & supporting documentation for residents


Key Requirements:



  • Certificate in Leisure & Lifestyle OR experience in activities and diversional therapy programs for residential care

  • Certificate in Food Handling or equivalent

  • Passion and interest in working with clients who have a cognitive impairment and those living with dementia
