If you genuinely have a passion for Caring and Helping people and would like a pathway into Personal Care then ARRCS has an opportunity for you!

You'll commence on a Two Week (0830 - 1600 - Mon to Fri) Accelerated Induction Course to become a Personal Care Assistant with the goal of reaching a Qualified Personal Care Worker. The company will support your learning and education to gain Certificate III in Individual Support.

If you have considered a job role in Personal Care and providing care and support within the consumers in our Residential Aged Care or In-Home environment, undertaking cleaning, bed making, personal care including grooming, showering, mobility and assisting with meals.

You may also be required to assist with social support, taking consumers to appointments and shopping. You will understand before applying that you will be ineligible to work for another Aged Care or Disability Services provider in Alice Springs whilst employed with our organisation in accordance with our Conflict of Interest provisions within the Enterprise Agreement and company Policy.

You'll be motivated by

  • Providing our residents and consumers with the right care, at the right time and meeting their needs and health goals.
  • Responsible for knowing the requirements of the consumer you serve who call our facility home.
  • Communicating with the consumers within your care that you listen and understand their needs.
  • A willingness to learn and grow and do so with advocacy ensuring meaningful engagement.
  • Ability to manage and work within a culturally diverse team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
