What you'll be doing

The Recovery at Work Coordinator is a key member of the Workforce Operations team and will work closely with all stakeholders to manage the end to end the return to and recovery at work of employees who have a non-work related injury/illness. This position also supports and implements proactive measures in sick leave management.
 
The Recovery at Work Coordinator provides practical guidance and assistance to management and staff participating in SCHN Recovery at Work programs’ to ensure workers with non-work related injury/illnesses achieve timely, safe and durable return to work outcomes. Additionally this role provides support and education to managers and staff about the non-work related matters.
 

Selection Criteria: 

  1. Experience in workplace rehabilitation or other health related field, or equivalent work experience
  2. Working knowledge of and demonstrated experience in case management and risk management
  3. Demonstrated high level verbal communication skills, including the capacity to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders
  4. Excellent written communication and administrative and skills with proven report writing experience
  5. Demonstrated excellent time management and prioritisation skills and the ability to manage a diverse workload with competing priorities
  6. Current drivers licence and required to travel between Westmead and Randwick
