The Sanofi Intern Program is a 4-month opportunity for current students that offers you a supportive learning environment to cultivate skills critical for your future success.

Our internship offers you valuable hands-on experience and the chance to immerse yourself into an organisation where you will be able to impact people’s lives.

This is a fantastic opportunity to apply knowledge from your current tertiary studies into by working collaboratively to tackle daily challenges and deliver best practice. Commencing mid-July 2021, you will work closely with a supervisor and their team to develop your technical skills and real-life experience.

As the Marketing Intern - Rare Diseases, your role will be to work with the Marketing team to develop & implement brand plans, activations, and initiatives to grow the business and achieve relevant brand, sales, and profit targets. You will be working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders (e.g. sales, medical) to implement the strategic plan to deliver exceptional performance.

Other priorities in this role include:

  • Developing, implementing, and evaluating successful promotional campaigns
  • Analysing product performance, trends across channels to identify opportunities
  • Market analysis and monitoring of competitor activities
  • Preparing a monthly KPI report for key tactical initiatives across Rare Diseases
  • Preparing internal presentations of new/ongoing projects
  • Work with external agencies and RD brand team to co-ordinate the development and implementation of brand activities and initiatives
  • Preparation and execution of congresses and events

What we’re looking for:

  • You will be in your penultimate year of studying an undergraduate degree in the area of Marketing with an interest in health and science from a recognised tertiary institution.
  • Are able to commit to a minimum of 15 hours per week onsite at our Macquarie Park office
  • Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills, including meticulous attention to detail
  • A curious, innovative and analytical mindset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
  • Strong written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • A team player who is able to work collaboratively
  • Someone who is eager to develop themselves and will take ownership of their role once project goals and tasks are set
