The Role
This is an opportunity for an experienced and innovative Practice Manager to join our practice in Karratha, Western Australia.
You will manage the efficient and effective running of the medical centre, ensuring that the highest standards of patient care and customer service are achieved.
Reporting to and working closely with the Regional Manager, you will provide comprehensive support to all health care professionals working within the practice so that they can deliver outstanding patient care.
Responsibilities:
  • Day to day management of the Medical Practice, ensuring that daily operating procedures are driving the highest standards of patient care and customer service
  • Implementation of administration systems
  • Performance management and building of staff confidence - understand the training needs for staff within the centre
  • Optimise rosters to match patient flow and the requirements of the centre
  • Ensure all staff have the tools to manage the efficient delivery of their work
  • Profit and loss responsibility, cost control and initiate programs to drive revenue
Experience & attributes
  • Previous experience in a Management or Supervisory role
  • Previous experience in the health industry highly desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and develop a high-performance team
  • Commitment to proving the highest-level customer service while always striving for improvement
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office essential
  • Strong written and verbal communication
