psychCentral has a number of established practices and super-clinics in Sydney and we are looking for a Senior Speech Pathologist to provide mentoring and leadership to our team of speech pathologists.

We are also searching for speech pathologists (graduates are encouraged to apply).

Our multi-disciplinary team consists of Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Behaviour Support Practitioners, allied health assistants and social workers.

Our multi-disciplinary team provides services to individuals across the lifespan, mainly individuals living with a disability. The successful applicant will provide clinical leadership and expertise within the disability caseload. 

About you

  • A bachelor or post graduate degree in Speech Pathology and eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Proven ability to work independently and to establish effectively collaboratively working relationships within a multi-disciplinary team and interagency networks.
  • Demonstrated well-developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Completing high-quality NDIS assessments and intervention services delivered in a person-centred approach to build capacity and achieve NDIS goals (including speech, language, dysphagia, AAC, aphasia, and fluency)
  • Proven (or emerging) supervision skills
  • Develop clinical resources and tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport with children and their parents
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Excellent organisation & time management skills
  • NDIS experience and understanding
  • Be skilled in being culturally-responsive to diverse communities
  • Passionate about empowering people to achieve their goals and maximising their independence
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Current Police Check
  • Current Drivers licence
  • Bilingual (desirable)
