About the Opportunity

Monash Health is seeking Nurse Immunisers to work in our vaccination clinics and vaccination hub which operate seven days a week. The clinics operational hours have been designed to support our workforce shifts and clinic employees will be rostered from 0700 to 1730, 7 days a week. Training in clinic processes, COVID-19 vaccination protocols and information systems will be provided and reinforced through a supportive environment. You will have access to a nurse educator specific to this workforce.

Monash Health is seeking nurse immunisers who wish to work on a full time, part time or casual basis. A contract of at least six month will be offered to employees choosing to work full time or part time. Employees successful in gaining a full time or part time role, will be rostered to work across sites and across seven days according to your availability and contracted EFT. Casual employees will work with Monash Health Bureau and be allocated shifts according to availability and chosen locations via our web based allocations system. As part of the emergency orders, all non-accredited nurse immunisers will be paid at their substantive rate. Internal applicants wishing to work extra shifts are welcome to apply.

About You

You are a highly motivated individual who wishes to join the COVID-19 Vaccination Hub in the role of a Nurse Immuniser.

The Nurse Immuniser is an integral member of the COVID-19 Vaccination team and is responsible and accountable for the delivery of safe, high quality immunisation care.

What you need to have:

  • Current AHPRA Registration

  • Current Employee Working with Children’s Check

  • Proven relevant experience

  • Relevant working visa

  • Relevant qualifications

  • Police Check not more than 3 months old
