WHAT YOU WILL LEAD, GROW & BE A PART OF
  • This Medical Operations Manager position is a newly created role to be responsible for leading the operational activities of this organisations’ medical department and will oversee Clinical Trials, Medical Affairs, Medical Information and Pharmacovigilance.
  • The role will interact with clinical research organisations (CRO’s) and be responsible for investigator and site liaison.
  • Activities in a medical affairs capacity will include responsibilities around medical education materials/programs development, review, implementation, manuscripts, publications and advisory board management and external expert liaison.
  • In the med info area you will develop and manage the medical information service.
  • Pharmacovigilance activities will include adverse event collection and reporting for spontaneous cases and clinical trials and risk management plans.
WHAT QUALS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS WILL YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB?
  • Pharmacy, Medicine, PhD, or BSc with additional post-graduate qualifications.
  • Medicines Australia.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in medical information, pharmacovigilance or medical affairs within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Technical writing.
  • Enjoy working in a growing team but also able to work independently.
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and external stakeholders.
  • Adaptable to change.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office suite.
