Eastern Health is one of Melbourne’s largest public health services. We provide a range of emergency, surgical, medical and general healthcare services, including maternity, palliative care, mental health, drug and alcohol, residential care, community health and statewide specialist services to people and communities that are diverse in culture, age, socio-economic status, population and healthcare needs.

The Statewide Services program of Eastern Health comprises Turning Point and Spectrum, both of which are highly regarded nationally in their areas of expertise.

This role is based in Richmond, offers work/life balance flexibility, and a supportive team. The role’s primary purpose day-to-day is the project management of, a diverse range of improvement and innovation initiatives in health service delivery and the systems that support them. The role requires hands on project work and will also successfully juggle multiple projects simultaneously. Administration support is available within the Service Development team to assist this role.

The role also holds a coordinating role for the ECADS consortium- a group of passionate health providers operating in Melbourne’s Eastern Suburbs. The role requires exceptional stakeholder management, as well as the ability to identify opportunities for growth, to enhance service delivery or improve organisational processes.

To be successful in this role you should possess:
Exceptional communication skills and a customer service ethic

Leadership capability or a desire to develop these skills

Demonstrated experience managing projects and initiatives

Demonstrated ability liaise and negotiate with senior stakeholders or similar

Proactively monitor service activity requirements and implement actions to address gaps in performance with support

Demonstrated strong administration skills with report writing or demonstrated ability to learn on the job

Well organized, accountable and with a positive attitude

‘Can-do’ approach with flexibility to support the team and manager with ad-hoc/priority tasks

MS Office and computer skills

Driver's licence

Desirable

A qualification or work experience in the health field

ICT, communications experience/exposure
