THE POSITION

Reporting to the Respiratory District Sales Manager, you will work as part of an established, high achieving, Respiratory GP Sales Team based in Victoria. The role will involve calling on General Practitioners and working with Pharmacists, covering the metropolitan and country practices for Inner West Victoria territory.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Exceed sales targets through unit growth and market share acquisition
  • Achieve required standard of sales calls which includes working away from home once a week in approximately every six weeks
  • Build credible and trusting relationships (internal and external)
  • Coordinate and manage functions designed to add value to customers, including in-service programs, medical practice luncheons and dinner presentation meetings
  • Manage the customer database to ensure effective customer targeting
  • Allocate budget in cost effective ways to maximize sales
  • Develop and maintain a deep marketplace, therapeutic, product and disease expertise

Requirements

  • High energy and good achievement orientation
  • Tertiary Qualifications (preferably in Science/ Medicine or Business)
  • Minimum two years sales experience and/or territory management experience preferential
  • Field sales/territory management experience will be viewed desirably
  • Genuine interest to forge a career in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Clear, demonstrable professional achievements
  • Work well independently and as part of a team
  • High drive for results and self-motivated
