Your new company
We are currently supporting a Federal Government Department who are seeking an experienced mental health social worker or psychologist, to manage and coordinate the department's outreach program.

Your new role
As the Outreach Program Coordinator you will collaboratively manage and coordinate the program. Key responsibilities:

  • Contribution to the continuous quality improvement of the Outreach Program at both state and national levels
  • Facilitation of the delivery of high quality clinical outreach services for eligible clients
  • Ensuring referrals are appropriate, timely, and accompanied by relevant written client and administrative documentation
  • Outreach area coordination and/or administrative responsibilities
  • Direct provision of high quality clinical services including initial intake, assessment and referral
  • Provide evidence based counselling, case management and case coordination as required
  • Participation in ongoing learning and development activities and maintenance of professional status
  • Participation in community development and service promotion activities

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role you will need:

  • Qualifications must be that of a psychologist or accredited metal health social worker.
  • Qualified psychologists must have current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Agency (AHPRA).
  • Mental health accredited social workers must be registered with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
  • Working with Children (WWC) and/or Vulnerable People Checks/Clearance must be obtained prior to commencing in the position.
  • Both psychologists and mental health social workers must have extensive clinical and relevant management experience.

In return for your commitment to this position you will receive an excellent hourly rate between $55-$65 + Super and the opportunity to work in a dynamic fast paced enviornment.
