JOB DESCRIPTION

The role

You will be providing person-centred Occupational Therapy to NDIS participants. You may specialise in paediatric and adolescents, or adults. You will work collaboratively with other allied health professionals, work closely with parents, carers, and stakeholders to maximise client's best cognitive, emotional, sensory, and social outcomes for clients.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide client-driven, person-centred, evidence-based assessments and therapy services to clients in our clinics, their home and community environments, focusing on their personal goal attainment, improving their quality of life, and increasing their independence.
  • Provide therapy services either individually or as a member of an inter-disciplinary team
  • Liaise with external stakeholders to provide individualise support plans
  • Provide accurate, timely, and high-quality progress reports


About you

  • Be skilled in being culturally-responsive to diverse communities
  • Passionate about empowering people to achieve their goals and maximising their independence
  • Hold an approved degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Hold registration with the appropriate body i.e. AHPRA
  • Current drivers licence
  • Current Working with Children Check;
  • Current Police Check;
  • Bilingual desirable
