We are a global medical devices business on a strong growth trajectory and looking to employ an experienced sales or anaesthetic professional looking for a great opportunity. Our products are used predominately within OT, so it would be great if you have working experience within the perioperative/anaesthetic space in either a sales or clinical perspective.

As a Sales representative your objective is to develop strong and genuine relationships with the key stakeholders within your business - Anaesthetists, Anaesthetic NUM's and Nursing Staff. You will identify new business opportunities to increase the company's profitability and market share.

A multifunctional role with heaps of variety you need to be agile to the business needs and, as you develop new business opportunities to ensure our continuous and sustainable growth, you are able to build appropriate strategies and execute. The drive to constantly strive to 'raise the bar', improve systems and processes and exceed expectations is in your DNA. As our subject matter expert this is a great opportunity to promote this market leading product.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying opportunities to drive business growth
  • Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to leverage relationships to win/win
  • Product trials within both public and private hospitals
  • Training & supporting your client base - Anaesthetics, NUM's, Anaesthetic staff
  • Business planning & reporting to ensure achievement of business metrics
  • Monitoring/evaluating competitors' products & having a strong awareness of changing marketplace dynamics

About you:

  • You are from a sales /nursing/technical/medical background
  • 3+ years of experience in a hospital environment - peri-anaesthesia
  • Ability to build a great network within the anaesthetic community
  • Analytical expertise to analyse information, problem-solve, and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in close collaboration with the national team to ensure continued growth
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills to communicate with a range of stakeholders
  • Ability to operate in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Self-motivated, proactive and resilient with strong influencing skills
  • Ability to learn technical medical device products & communicate benefits at all levels
  • Clean drivers licence and ability to travel as business needs necessitate
