The Role
Options exist for you to work in a permanent part-time or full-time capacity, within a 34-bed surgical ward at Epworth Richmond. You will be responsible for providing care to General Surgical, Gastroenterology, Colorectal, Bariatric and Hepatobilary surgical patients and you will report to the Nurse Unit Manager.

You will make an impact by:

  • Having an excellent clinical understanding of surgical nursing care
  • Striving to consistently improve your service delivery and clinical practice
  • Working cooperatively and collaboratively with all team members in our multidisciplinary team
  • Having highly developed communication and organisational skills
  • Displaying a flexible and positive attitude

To be successful in this role…
You have recent experience working within General Surgical or Colorectal as well as a professional work ethic. You will be able to work collaboratively, whilst striving to consistently improve our service delivery and your clinical practice.

You will have

  • Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Recent General Surgical or Colorectal experience
  • An excellent clinical understanding of surgical nursing care
