Who are we?

Albury Wodonga Health (AWH) is a unique cross-border public health service and the largest regional health service between Sydney and Melbourne. We support an outer catchment population of 250,000 throughout North-East VIC and Southern NSW, with a dedicated team of over 2,600 staff. The Opportunity

The Victorian Government has committed to an additional 500,000 specialist appointments in rural and regional Victoria for a range of targeted conditions including heart, cancer, arthritis, diabetes, ENT, allergies, & chronic pain. This has enabled AWH to implement a SP/ENT innovative model of care with the development of the AWH Swallowing and Voice Clinic.

This position is for a suitably experienced Speech Pathologist to implement the SP/ENT innovative model of care with regards to the ENT-Speech Pathology dysphagia-dysphonia pathway. Responsibilities included within this role are to provide coordinated, patient centred & evidenced based clinical services to the AWH swallowing and voice clinic, and to provide ongoing development and implementation of the clinic, activity management, and evaluation. The successful applicant must demonstrate ability to independently deliver high quality clinical practice in an outpatient clinic.

This initiative aims to improve the access to care for our regional consumers. Experience with advanced clinical practice areas for Speech Pathology and outpatient service delivery (including telehealth, videofluroscopy and fibreoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing) will be considered favourably.
