About Us

Aspiration Education and Development Clinic (AEDC) is an NDIS registered provider and a tertiary referral clinic that specialises in the treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, as well as more generalist concerns (Anxiety, Depression, etc). AEDC is part of the National Early Childhood ILC Working Group, dedicating in research and evidence-based early intervention.

Skills and experience

  • At least 1-year early intervention experience with children on the autism spectrum
  • The ability to work within a team
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal)
  • Strong organisational abilities
  • High attention to detail
  • A high level of motivation and ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Current national police check and working with children check

Key Tasks & responsibilities

  • Conducting evidence-based early intervention therapy following individual client's programs (in-clinic, home, early childhood settings, school)
  • Maintaining client files via accurate data recording and report writing
  • Communicating with clients and relevant stakeholders (e.g. early childhood educators, school staff) in a professional manner within professional limits
  • Reporting clients' progress and concerns to managers
  • Actively participating in supervision with case managers
  • Taking part in and contributing to clients quarterly review meetings
  • Researching/ preparing handouts, presentations, etc.
  • Liaising with other health professionals e.g., GPs, paediatricians, psychiatrists, speech pathologists, OTs

Employment Details

  • Permanent part time (3-4 days per week) with the future possibility for full time
  • Hourly rate plus superannuation, annual leave etc
