Heartscope Victoria is seeking to employ a Medical Receptionist / Admin Assistant person who possesses a strong work ethic, commitment to quality, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and respond to change to work in our busy practice. Your proven medical reception experience, strong patient focus and responsible outlook are essential for this professional, fast paced environment.

Flexibility to travel to other South East sites like Pakenham and Dandenong are required occasionally.

The right candidate will be offered CASUAL PART TIME (30-35 hours) at the start and depending on performance, progress to PERMANENT FULL TIME (38 hours).

Day to day your duties will include but not be limited to:

• Handling phone calls, booking and confirming appointments

• Meet and greet of patients - invoicing patients and taking payments

• Entering patient data into clinical software package

• Any administration tasks as required such as data entry and typing worksheets/reports

• Performing certain practice related diagnostic procedures, for which training will be provided.

To be successful in this role you will need to possess:

• A current driver's license preferred

• Proficient computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, Access and Outlook

• Excellent oral, written, communication & typing skills

• Ability to handle high pressure environment

• Professional, warm and friendly disposition

• The ability to communicate with patients from all types of backgrounds

• Excellent attention to detail

• A high standard of work ethic – self-motivated, pro-active, takes pride in work

• Able to work well independently, but also as part of a team
