We are currently looking for a Positive Behaviour Practitioner who is a suitably qualified health professional (Psychologist, Speech Pathologist, or Occupational Therapist) with experience in Positive Behaviour Support to join our Allied Health Team.

This position works closely with people with disability, their families, and our support workers, using contemporary, best practice approaches. Our Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners assist people living in our shared independent living houses located across the Perth metropolitan area.

To apply, you will need:

  • registration with AHPRA or Speech Pathology Australia (Provisional Psychology Registrants would also be considered);
  • demonstrated experience in working with people with disability and a sound understanding of Positive Behaviour Support;
  • knowledge of restrictive practices and an understanding of existing frameworks;
  • an understanding and experience in the use of relevant assessment tools;
  • highly developed report writing and behavioural data analysis skills;
  • demonstrate ability to work independently and cooperatively as part of a team, contributing professional skills and knowledge, including sharing your expertise with colleagues and the team;
  • a sound understanding of current disability issues, NDIS and the National Standards for Disability Services, and a
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.
