This is a maternityrelief position and should the permanent incumbent require an early return frommaternity leave, this contract of employment will cease with two weeks notice.Maternity relief positions can be for a period of up to 12 months, with thepossibility of continued employment for up to a further 12 months for maternityleave reduced hours, therefore there are no claims to permanency.

This exciting full time position will provide assessment and management of paediatric communication and feeding disorders while being involved in service and resource planning, providing support and supervision to allocated staff and providing clinical leadership within the team.

What you'll be doing

To provide a professional speech pathology service to paediatric clients and outpatients and their family/carers to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes for patients. As a senior clinician, the speech pathologist is required to demonstrate service and resource planning and evaluation, provide supervision to allocated staff and provide clinical leadership within the team.

The speech pathologist will work to deliver high quality care in a dynamic team environment and work closely with interdisciplinary colleagues and senior managers within the District to ensure the development and delivery of effective and pro-active speech pathology services. The speech pathologist will be active in the areas of service development, service evaluation and staff and student teaching.

The position may be rostered across any of the CCLHD facilities.
