    CGH is the major provider of health and residential aged care services in the Wellington Shire. Our sub-regional health service provides primary, secondary and tertiary services that include the Sale Hospital. As well as the smaller Maffra and Heyfield Hospitals plus 4 residential aged care facilities.

    About the Role

    This position will work collaboratively to provide an effective generalist occupational therapy service at CGH and contribute to the service as more senior OT. Duties include:

    • Manage a clinical caseload for both self and the team, which encompasses the acute, rehabilitation, community and residential aged care settings as well as conducting home visits and covering other clinical areas where necessary
    • Support this process on a daily basis, and through the review and implementation of the weekly team timetable
    • Develop, conduct and evaluate individual and group occupational therapy assessments and intervention
    • Provide leadership through participation in care coordination, encompassing remedial, compensatory, educational and preventative strategies
