JOB DESCRIPTION

This is a great opportunity for a Grade 1 Physiotherapist to join the physio team at MDHS! Working across all campuses and settings, working in acute, aged care and community, this is an opportunity not to be missed. In this role, you will provide Physiotherapy assessment and treatment for inpatients and community members within a multi-disciplinary team environment. You will be working within a team environment comprising of Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists and an Allied Health Assistant.

Physiotherapist Grade 1
Permanent Full Time – 80 hours per fortnight
Classification: Physiotherapist Gr 1
Award: Allied Health Professionals (Victorian Public Health Sector) Single Interest Enterprise Agreement 2016 – 2020

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

Qualifications / Experience

Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Registration with Physiotherapists' Registration Board of Victoria.
Current Victorian Driver's Licence.
Specialist Expertise
Demonstrated skill in working in trans-disciplinary and professional teams, in order to achieve best client outcomes.
Understanding and commitment to evidence-based treatment and client-centred work.
Demonstrated level of expertise in the application of principles and skills of clinical physiotherapy.
Demonstrated evidence of commitment to ongoing education and professional development to ensure working within current scope of practice.
Personal Qualities
Well-developed computer skills.
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to work autonomously.
