JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Statewide Clinical Support Services - SA Pathology, Adelaide 
  • Part time working 22.5 hours per week and temporary for 12 months from start date. Multiple positions available.
  • Total Indicative Remuneration OPS-2 $61,383 - $66,030 (pro rata)

This is a patient sensitive role that requires a duty of care.
Requirement to independently perform phlebotomy (collection of blood samples) and other specimen collection procedures within a domiciliary setting such as the patient home, nursing home or other.
Requirement to drive independently to the patient location. This will include the patient’s home, nursing home or other. 
Participate in a rotating on-call roster. On-call requires 24 hour coverage.
Availability to be rostered over a 7 day roster.

Staff may be rostered at any SA Pathology collection centre as required. There will be a requirement to perform data order entry of patient request forms into the laboratory information system.

Successful completion of the Certificate III in Pathology Specimen Collection.
