The Exciting Opportunity
  • Full operational responsibility of a small facility in the Rockingham / Mandurah area
  • Focus on leading the facility’s transition to a new provider
  • Embed new policies and procedures and promote the vision and values of the organisation
  • Provide exceptional customer service whilst managing resources and meeting business objectives
  • Hold full profit and loss responsibility; driving ACFI, managing costs and maximising resources to achieve financial targets
  • Manage and mentor a team to create a positive culture where staff are committed to best practice, person centred care
  • Lead the facility to meet the aged care legislation, with assistance from a Clinical Nurse Manager and the Central Support team
  • Implement and support quality improvement activities so residents and their families’ expectations are not just met, but exceeded
  • Develop positive relationships with residents and families to create client directed care outcomes

About You
  • Experience in a managerial role within aged care, community services or health care is essential
  • Strong financial acumen and a demonstrated ability managing and interpreting a budget, and applying that to operations management
  • Must be a confident, adaptable and energetic leader with a passion for embodying and promoting the vision and values of the organisation
  • Solution oriented and results driven with the ability to approach situations both logically and innovatively
  • Proven track record in quality compliance and leading a service to meet legislative requirements
