About The Role

  • Deliver specialised Physiotherapy clinical and consultancy services across several speciality areas, in accordance with accepted professional practices, standards and principles including the legal and ethical requirements with a high degree of independence.
  • Undertake care coordination responsibilities for Rehab@Home clients as allocated by Rehab@Home Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) or Allied Health Team Leader.
  • Providing clinical advice and direction to a team of Physiotherapists to ensure effective service delivery and quality outcomes applying change management, conflict resolution and negotiation skills where necessary.
  • Provide high quality clinical supervision to physiotherapists and allied health assistants to support effective and efficient service delivery of Physiotherapy.
  • Actively contributing to workforce planning and resource management to meet service requirements.
  • Demonstrates clinical leadership and expertise obtained through significant professional development activities, post graduate education or formal qualifications and actively pursues development and learning opportunities, including contribution to training of Physiotherapy and other health professionals.
  • Lead innovative quality/service improvement activities and contribute to research of significant scope and clinical importance to Physiotherapy, seeking outcomes that influence standards of clinical practice and the delivery of services to meet local needs and influence broader organisational goals including publishing/presenting relevant work broadly.
