The Position

You Will

Our innovative service model focuses on delivering the best clinical outcomes for clients. Working in a supportive team environment, you will be responsible for the delivery of Empower Healthcare's comprehensive services across home care and NDIS clients in Melbourne.
  • Deliver high quality speech therapy services and programs including full assessments and on-going management of swallowing, speech and language
  • Completing high-quality NDIS assessments and intervention services (including communication, language, dysphagia, AAC, aphasia, and augmentative and alternative communication).
  • Work with individuals aged 8 years and over in a person-centred approach to achieve NDIS goals.
  • Work collaboratively with our clinicians to develop innovative and progressive care plans that aim to promote the independence and wellbeing of the patients
  • Work autonomously to prioritise and complete tasks, maintain records and provide patient reports
You will be provided with support from our home care team who will schedule these appointments and plan an efficient route.

You Must Have

We are looking for someone that is passionate about making a difference in the lives of our people. You will have an enthusiastic and proactive attitude, be outcome focussed and dedicated to delivering an exceptional service to our clients.
  • Current VIC Driver's Licence and own vehicle
  • Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) or equivalent
  • Certified Practising Speech Pathology Australia membership
  • Current valid police check and working with children check
  • Experience with NDIS and home care packages will be highly regarded
