The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) works in partnership with 15 National Boards to implement the national regulatory scheme for health professionals. The purpose of health practitioner regulation is to protect the public by ensuring that only health practitioners who have the skills, qualifications and knowledge to provide safe care are registered.

We have a part time (.50FTE) role for approximately 18 months available in our Melbourne office. Days and hours of work are flexible.

This role is available for immediate commencement and we will be reviewing applications during the advertising period. Should we find the successful candidate during this time, advertising will close early. 

In this role you will:

  • Build strong internal and external relationships
  • Develop and lead project governance and working parties
  • Be vital to the success of Ahpra’s costing program 2022
  • Provide concise yet compelling presentations, records and report
  • Support and advise CFO and Senior leaders
  • Explore productivity opportunities, investment opportunities and manage local initiatives
  • Part of Ahpra’s project community of practice

As the ideal candidate, you will demonstrate the following:

  • Strong professional services project experience
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Success in planning, scheduling, monitoring and reporting on cross functional programs 
  • Understanding of cost recovery and regulatory fee setting principles
  • Investment governance, business case development, benefits frameworks and reporting
